Consultant ITOM ServiceNow (all genders)

Your tasks

  • Advise our customers on the operationalisation and digitalisation of Enterprise Service Management (ESM) processes in the context of ServiceNow's ESM platform.
  • You will work in a team-oriented environment, be a trusted advisor and provide thought leadership in a customer advisory environment with your expertise in ServiceNow's ITOM product capabilities
  • You will be responsible for conducting needs analysis for customer requirements within the Digital Transformation context of ServiceNow
  • Specialising your technical and solution expertise in the field of IT Operations Management
  • The definition of reference solution architectures, implementation concepts as well as documentation methods which can be executed by project teams are also part of your tasks.
  • Taking responsibility for sub-projects and work packages, as well as managing the customer organisation and your own development teams.
  • You will design and configure the ServiceNow platform and ITOM applications based on leading practices to deliver solutions that are aligned with the customer's business outcomes.
  • Take over quality assurance tasks in ESM projects

 

Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science or business informatics or comparable professional training/experience
  • You have experience with event management (frameworks), system loggers and other means for platforms to receive events
  • Experience in the conception and introduction as well as the operation of ITSM or ESM solutions, ideally on the basis of ServiceNow, but also as a career changer, e.g. Microfocus or BMC Remedy.
  • Ideally, you already have relevant certifications, e.g. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, or comparable certifications
  • Ideally implementation experience in the area of ServiceNow, but also as a career changer, e.g. Universal CMDB, Operations Bridge, Network Node Manager, SMAX
  • Experience in the areas of infrastructure and application services (on premise and cloud)
  • Experience in the areas of Event Management, Cloud Management, Service Asset & Configuration Management
  • A broad understanding of typical IT service management processes is desirable
  • Confident manner towards customers as well as first experience in conducting customer workshops on your own responsibility
  • Structured and independent work
  • Willingness to travel in the EMEA region
  • Very good written and spoken English (business fluent)
