In our two-day ServiceNow® Admin Advanced training course, our ServiceNow®-certified instructors will provide you with in-depth training on application data management, visualizations, development, troubleshooting, integrations, security, and platform optimization. Using your personal ServiceNow® sandbox instance, you’ll be able to immediately apply and reinforce what you’ve learned through a variety of hands-on exercises.
Once you have completed the course, you can take the exam for your ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification online on the ServiceNow® learning platform—we will provide you with an exam voucher to take the exam. After passing the exam, you will receive your official ServiceNow® certificate there, which also serves as the foundation for further ServiceNow® certifications.
This course is intended for ServiceNow administrators and consultants who have been managing ServiceNow production systems for at least six to twelve months and have successfully completed the “ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals” course. Certification as a Certified System Administrator (CIS-CSA) is recommended but not required. Prior completion of the “Scripting in ServiceNow®” course is also recommended.

This module covers the management of application data in ServiceNow. It includes configurations, update sets, instance cloning, and efficient data search. It also demonstrates how to create database indexes to sustainably improve performance and data access.
The focus is on development and troubleshooting in ServiceNow. Topics covered include working with code, session debugging, background and fix scripts, and the Script Debugger. The goal is to systematically analyze errors and efficiently test and optimize scripts.
This module covers the analytical fundamentals of the platform. Topics include database views, data visualization, and dashboards. Hands-on exercises demonstrate how to create views, build visualizations, configure dashboards, and schedule their deployment.
Here, participants will gain an overview of integrations in ServiceNow. Topics covered include REST web services, direct and script-based web services, and the Integration Hub. The goal is to connect external systems to ServiceNow securely and in a standardized manner.
This module focuses on security concepts such as authentication, authorization, and system hardening. Using ACLs (Allow/Deny), it demonstrates how access is controlled and data is protected from unauthorized access.
The focus is on data quality and standardized data models. The topics covered include data hygiene and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM). The goal is to establish a clean, consistent data foundation to support reporting, the CMDB, and service transparency.
This module covers performance metrics and the operation of the ServiceNow instance. Topics include performance analysis, instance scans, releases, and upgrades. Hands-on exercises demonstrate how to systematically assess maintenance, upgrade planning, and their impact.
