In our three-day ServiceNow® Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Fundamentals training course, our ServiceNow® certified instructors will guide you through the core concepts of hardware asset tracking, lifecycle management, and best practices within the Now® platform. On your personal ServiceNow® Sandbox instance, you will apply your knowledge through hands-on exercises.
You can conduct the training as an online live session with a trainer, on site at our training facilities or in-house in your organisation.
After completing the course, you will receive an exam voucher to take the certification exam on the ServiceNow® learning platform. Upon passing, you will earn the ServiceNow® Certified Implementation Specialist - Hardware Asset Management certification, validating your expertise in HAM and enabling further specializations within ServiceNow®.
This training is ideal for IT asset managers, procurement specialists and ServiceNow® administrators who are responsible for tracking, managing and optimizing hardware assets throughout their lifecycle. It is particularly useful for professionals looking to implement HAM best practices and integrate asset processes into the Now® platform.
To prepare for the course, it is recommended to have previously completed the Welcome to ServiceNow® and ServiceNow® Administration Fundamentals courses. This basic training provides fundamental knowledge about navigating ServiceNow®.
The prerequisites for attending the ServiceNow® Hardware Asset Management Fundamentals Training are:
Upon completing the Hardware Asset Management Fundamentals course, you will be eligible to take the ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Hardware Asset Management (CIS-HAM) exam. The exam is conducted online through the ServiceNow Webassessor platform, in partnership with Kryterion.
The exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions, to be answered within 90 minutes. To pass, you must achieve a 70% or higher score. The exam is available only in English and must be taken within 12 months of receiving your voucher.
Upon passing, you will receive a digital certificate, which can be printed if needed. More details, including the exam blueprint, can be found on the ServiceNow® website.
