Make your business more responsive and flexible with agile approaches, create more business value for you and your customers and win with a faster time to market.
With our experience in integrated ITSM and DevOps environments, Scrum/Kanban and strategic focus on scaling agile, iTSM Group is the ideal partner for agile practices and organisational transformation.
With digitalisation rapidly evolving, most companies find themselves in a confusing and fast-moving market environment. Areas of corporate value streams and market dominance long thought to be "safe" are being challenged by companies that come to the market with a fresh outlook and are characterised by little bureaucracy, an innovative spirit, an uncompromising customer focus and a distinct ability to adapt. This makes the ability to recognise changing customer needs and market situations and to react flexibly to them a profit and survival factor.
The necessary transformation to an agile organisation should not be driven by IT or implemented by individual departments alone. The agile transformation always touches the core business and thus affects the entire organisation. From the strategic to the operational business units, value creation should be the defining element.
To shape this change, the iTSM Group is the ideal companion: with our expertise in agile transformations of companies and organisations from a wide range of sectors, we support you at all levels to master the change holistically.
Adapted to your organisational needs, we validate and develop your value streams with you and support you methodically in the further definition of your products - for example in design thinking workshops. We discuss with you necessary and sensible organisational changes as well as conducive framework conditions and prerequisites for an agile transformation. In doing so, we draw on a broad set of tools, such as Objectives & Key Results (OKR) for the alignment of teams, seminars, trainings and workshops for employees with a view to agile frameworks and organisational models such as Scrum, Kanban and Scaling Agile, for example SAFe®.
What is agile transformation?
The term "agile transformation" describes the process of change in which organisations adapt their processes, structures and culture in such a way that they maintain or expand their ability to act and adapt in an environment of constant change and less predictability.
The business-related value streams become transparent in their entirety and more comprehensible in their characteristics and effects. Creation processes are compared and brought into congruence.
Continuous identification of improvement potentials, target-oriented prioritisation as well as an immediate understanding of their contribution to the strategic direction.
Incremental product creation, transparent end-to-end implementation of agile scaled processes and their ongoing adaptation are the starting points for optimising the fields of action.
In Agile IT Service Management, we support you in the optimal alignment of your organisational structure and processes and digitise and automate common tasks in service management - using agile or hybrid methods.
Better aligning requirements and strategic initiatives with the corporate strategy and integrating them into operational work, thus making project work more efficient overall: This is what Demand, Project & Portfolio Management is all about for us.
Through our experienced and DevOps-certified specialists, we offer a specific and proven method to dovetail development and operations teams across the entire lifecycle of a software product and to align processes accordingly.
Our SAFe® Programme Consultants (SPC) are certified to implement SAFe® or similar scaled agile methods according to your company's specifics and bring experience and knowledge in the value streams of many industries. We also offer expertise in integrating ITSM or DevOps processes.
In our training courses, experienced trainers educate you and your colleagues on agile methods in IT service management and project management and certify you according to official standards - online or on-site in our training centres or in your organisation.
Case - Project example
Fresenius Digital Technology GmbH
Fresenius Digital Technology was already using ServiceNow®. The aim was to develop and implement a future model for the development and operation of the ServiceNow® platform, matching the requirements in relation to the existing structure and teams.
The current operation model of Fresenius Netcare was examined. For this purpose, interviews were held with the stakeholders (product owner, project lead, etc.) and the cross-functional areas - coordinated by the representatives of the contractual partners. In the next step, the iTSM Group independently developed an operating model for the ServiceNow® platform, which includes all process-related steps from the initial requirements to the deployment on the production instance and thus the technical go-live.
Furthermore, different process flows were introduced in order to enable particularly high business criticality with quick reaction and implementation. With appropriate training and coaching measures, the overriding goal was to equip the platform team with expertise and structure in order to achieve speed and reliability, especially in their own organization.
All points resulted accordingly in governance and framework documents to ensure progress in the long term.

The type of project management is of crucial importance for the success of a project, regardless of its size or complexity. Two popular methodologies that are much discussed in the project management community are PRINCE2® and Scrum. In this article, we will compare both approaches and discuss their differences as well as their respective advantages and disadvantages.
Daily Scrum, also called Daily Standup meeting, is a daily meeting that is part of the Scrum agile project management method. It is a short and concise meeting where the Scrum team reviews the progress of the Sprint and shares any roadblocks or issues. This article presents tips and best practices to use Daily Scrum more effectively and avoid common mistakes.
Scrumban, originally developed by Corey Ladas in 2003, is a combination of Scrum and Kanban, combining the structured process model of Scrum with the flow-based view of Kanban to create an adaptable process for agile teams.
Planning at portfolio level is complex and difficult to predict - among other things, because it is exposed to many external influencing factors. These are ideal conditions for the use of agile approaches, which can also be used in agile project portfolio management to achieve better results in shorter cycles.
A high degree of complexity and the use of new and largely unknown technologies are common to almost all IT projects. Quite a few also fail because of this. To implement IT projects successfully, comprehensive and consistent project management is essential.
